My name is Aaron and I live in Glendale, AZ but travel into downtown Phoenix each day for my job as a surgical tech.
I become a serious coin collector shortly before my Dad died. He shared his collection of coins and explained which ones were most important to him. In 1967 was my parents wedding anniversary and I remember wishing it had been 1964 because that we the last year they made silver quarters and dimes. Some other coins were from my brothers and I birth years, including mint sets and commemoratives, and finally some were from his Dad. My Grandpa owned a business and kept any special coins that came in. Unfortunately, due to 5 brothers and sisters, my Dad’s share was pretty small but it did include a coin album of wheat cents dating back to 1909 that was more than half filled.
After my Father passed, I gave the coins from brother’s birth years to them and set out to complete the album of pennies. Over the next few years, I attended several coin shops and coin shows but I was in no real hurry to compete it, especially because I knew that several of them was going to be very expensive and hard to come by.
Fast forward to 2020 and I found out the mint produced quarters with a “W” mint mark on them and put a privy mark on it to commemorate the 75th anniversary of World War 2.
This led me to join a coin club in 2022 so I could try and trade my extras for ones that I needed. Shortly after joining the club, I was nominated for an office and now hold the Vice-President position for the Arizona Territorial Coin Club (AZTCC).
My mission is to help others in their journey of coin collecting. Whether it’s the person who inherited some coins and wants to know the value or help the person wanting to complete a set. Maybe you are the person who just needs to sell some coins or bullion to raise some cash. I would like to be the person who can help you achieve your goal.
Please let me know how I can help
you.
